Pennsylvania hunters will soon have the opportunity to make use of four additional electronic devices while hunting.
The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners has approved the use of electronic decoys while hunting waterfowl, electronic dove decoys for hunting doves, electronically-heated scent or lure dispensers, and devices that distribute ozone gas for scent-control purposes.
Electronic devices are generally prohibited for hunting in Pennsylvania but when the Game Commission receives requests, specific devices are reviewed. The four devices that were approved were found to have no negative impacts resulting from use.
It is expected to take approximately six to eight weeks for the changes to become official.
