There is still time to participate in a wild turkey survey before it closes later this week.
The public has until has until Wednesday, Sept. 6 to report sightings that happened during August as part of the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s second annual Wild Turkey Sighting Survey.
The commission is looking for information like location, date and number of wild turkeys that people observe. This data will allow officials to determine how factors including weather, habitat, food and predators affect turkey reproduction and population.
Participants should submit their information to the Pennsylvania Game Commission website.
