Gary W. Jones

Gary W. Jones, 78, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was born in Butler on August 12, 1943, to the late Milton and Renna “LaJune” Jones. Gary was hired at Armco March 10, 1964, and retired July 27, 2001, a total of 37 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, weightlifting, and eating, especially Amish donuts. Gary was the beloved husband of Loretta (Keck) Jones since their marriage on June 19, 1982; father of Mike (Stacy) Jones, Mark (Tracy) Jones, Richelle (Roger) Atkins, and Tyler Jones; brother to Carol Welter, Joyce (David) Hartwick, David (Debby) Jones, and Laura Jones; and grandfather to Brittani, Becky (Jacob), Emily, Corey, Hunter, Braden, and Brock. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his daughter Mandy Olen; brother Raymond Jones; sister Sandra Fisher; and brother-in-law Rich Welter. Friends received on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 1-3 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD, BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
