Gas prices in western Pennsylvania have continued to decline in the past week.
According to AAA’s weekly gas price report, the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve in Butler, as of Monday, is $2.64 per gallon which is a decrease of four cents compared to last week.
Prices are also about a penny across western Pennsylvania as a whole this week, averaging $2.77 per gallon. The cheapest gas in the area can be found in Sharon at $2.56 per gallon, while the most expensive is $2.95 in Bradford.
The average national gas price dropped by two cents to $2.59 according to AAA. These prices could begin to fluctuate later this week as many travelers prepare for Thanksgiving holiday travel.
