Gaynell J. Brady, 70, of Evans City, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 1, 2022, at the Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born November 22, 1951, in Grove City, Pennsylvania to the late William H. Best and the late Donna E. Critchlow.
Gaynell graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1969 and Slippery Rock University in 1974 with a bachelor’s in psychology. She worked as a Social Worker for Family Services of Butler. Gaynell enjoyed bowling and was the president of her bowling league. She loved to travel, especially to new places, including almost every state, Europe, Central America, and Korea. Gaynell volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She will be remembered for her zest for life and her infectious laugh. Above all else, she loved her family.
Gaynell is survived by her husband, David G. Brady, who she married on September 28, 1974; two daughters, Rachel (Stephen) Rake of Connoquenessing, PA, Erin (Adam) Price of Evans City, PA; two grandchildren, Seth Price, Owen Price; one brother, Patrick Best of WA; and many friends and extended family.
In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Best.
There will be no public visitation.
Private Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
