George E. Wardle, Jr., 86, of Butler, PA, passed away on April 6, 2025 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Butler, PA, on October 6, 1938, to the late George and Mary (Groves) Wardle.
George graduated from Butler High School in 1956, before going on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors Degree. He was a Journeyman Electrician for Local Union #10, before becoming an Estimator, then Former Co-Owner of Right Electric, Inc., until retiring in 2016. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. George enjoyed working in the yard, hunting, golfing, fishing, as well as spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his four daughters, Terri (Richard) Bonnett, Linda Graham, Carla Wardle, and Michele Wardle; his two sons George M. Wardle, and Matthew (Megan) Wardle; his eight grandchildren; his four great-grandchildren; his sister, Romaine Bumpass; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Wardle; as well as by his step-sister, Phyllis Price.
