George Lechien Jr.

George Lechien Jr., 70 of Butler passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023. He was born in Pittsburgh on July 19, 1952 to the late George and Marie (Truax) Lechien Sr. George served his country honorably in the USMC. He worked as a sandblaster mostly, then with Trinity of Greenville, and most recently at the Monroe Hotel and Hot Dog Shop. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. George was known for being a hard worker. He was loved and will be forever missed. George was the father of Benjamin Lechien; step-father of Preston Bartmas and Crystal Lechien. He is also survived by 2 step-grandchildren and will be forever loved by Teresa Lechien. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5-7 PM at the SPENCER D.
