George W. Heasley, 82, of Butler, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at the Sunnyview Home.
Born September 10, 1935 in Butler, he was a son of the late Walter C. Heasley and Lucille (Galmish) Heasley.
George was retired from the P.A.R.C. Productions Sheltered Workshop. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church where he was a server and helper. He was a former longtime resident of the Arbors in Butler, had loved the Pittsburgh pirates, also murder mystery movies and playing bingo. He enjoyed spending time with friends, had lived his life to the fullest and brought a smile to everyone he met.
He is survived by many friends and family of the heart, as well as his beloved cat Emma Baby.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
