Georgia repeats football championship with dominating win over TCU

Georgia defended their national championship when they crushed Texas Christian 65-7 last night in the College Football Playoff national championship game. Quarterback Stetson Bennett threw for four touchdowns to lead Georgia. The Heisman Trophy finalist ran for two more scores. The Bulldogs are the first team to win consecutive championships under the CFP format. They are also the first repeat champion since Alabama a decade ago.
