A local woman is being honored by the Butler Chapter of an international women’s organization for her dedication as a leader and friend to the club and the community.
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Junior Women’s Club of Butler recently chose Christina Green as their Junior Woman of the Year.
Green is relatively new to the club but has displayed passion, enthusiasm, creativity, and fun to the club and community during the past year. She has dedicated many hours to the club through volunteering at nearly every event as well as working on projects outside of meeting time.
This recognition took place at the club’s closing dinner earlier this week to celebrate accomplishments of the past year.
