Pennsylvania State Parks are getting ready to host numerous events for the Girls Scouts.
This is the 6th annual “Girl Scouts Love State Park” weekend. It runs Friday through Sunday.
Events will be held statewide, including at both local state parks. The Jennings Environmental Center will be hosting girls scouts Saturday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. to learn about rare species.
McConnells Mill will also be hosting girl scouts Saturday to learn more about the Slippery Rock Creek and other natural features of the park.
