There’s still a battle over who will be in power in the state House of Representatives in Harrisburg.
Democrats and Republicans have failed to agree on which side is in power and how to proceed once its members are sworn in next month.
The Democrats won a majority of 102 seats in the house, out of a possible 203. However, following the death of Rep. Tony DeLuca, each political party will have 101 representatives when the year begins.
There are also two more Democrats who won elections to higher offices, meaning special elections will be needed to fill their seats.
Both parties have not been able to agree on a path forward to elect a Speaker of the House.
