Governor Wolf has rejected a bill that aimed to make it more difficult to sue schools, businesses, and health care providers for coronavirus-related claims.
Supporters of the bill argued that the pandemic should not open businesses up to lawsuits or extra expenses.
Governor Wolf said however that he didn’t want to legal protections to some businesses for noncompliance and carelessness.
