Low-interest loan applications are now open for those who were impacted by flooding from this spring.
This April saw historic rainfall amounts and caused damage across Western Pennsylvania and now applications are open for low-interest loans.
Home owners could see up to $500,000 for primary residences and up to $100,000 for homeowners and renters whose personal property was damaged. Meanwhile, businesses and nonprofits could see up to $2 million for losses not covered by insurance.
There are several programs with deadlines coming up this week.
The deadline for physical damages is June 28 through the Small Business Association. The deadline for economic injury disaster loans doesn’t come until next year in January 29, 2025.
While the Commonwealth Disaster Recovery Assistance Program deadline is August 1.
