Butler County has ended their search for a new solicitor and will continue utilizing the services of the current interim.
Julie Graham has been serving as an independent contractor since the departure of former solicitor Wil White earlier this year.
Commissioners approved hiring Graham in a full-time capacity as solicitor. However, Graham will not be an employee of the county but instead will continue to serve as an independent contractor.
Graham had served as county solicitor prior to retirement, but filled in as an interim a couple of times since.
