Work on a portion of Greenwood Drive will force its closure for the rest of the month.
Officials with Butler Township say the road will be shut down in between Benbrook and Route 422 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Friday. The eastern portion of the road leading to New Castle Road will remain open.
Peoples Gas is working on a gas line replacement project and has to close the road. The work is expected to last through January 31st.
However, the road will reopen for evening and nighttime travel.
