Grove City College is seeing a rise in enrollment for this upcoming school year.
College officials say their 630 student freshmen class is a nearly 20 percent growth compared to 2020.
Also of note from the incoming class is that almost half are from out of state. Data shows that 48 percent of the new freshmen are not from Pennsylvania.
“There are a number of factors behind our increased numbers, but I think the College’s clear mission and its remarkable network were responsible for the very good year,” Lee V. Wishing III, vice president for Student Recruitment said.
Wishing added that 92 percent of the new students have a connection to someone who has a relationship with Grove City College – alumni, family members, teachers, faculty, coaches, and others – that encouraged them to attend.
