The public is invited to attend a local event this weekend featuring off-road vehicles engineered and designed by college students.
Grove City College Racing Society of Automotive Engineers club is hosting the second annual Baja Butler Bash all day Saturday at Switchback race track just off Route 8 North.
A total of 15 vehicles built by teams from Pitt, Ohio Northern, Miami of Ohio, Maryland, and others will join the Grove City students to compete in a four hour endurance race subject to track conditions.
Gates open at 8 a.m. Admission is $5 and concessions will be available. Bleacher space is limited so those planning to attend are encouraged to bring seating.
