A Grove City man is facing charges for allegedly removing pine trees from a local park.
According to police, the incident happened last Thursday at the Grove City Memorial Park. They say 66-year-old Danny Como removed 26 evergreen pine trees from the park on Main Street.
Following an investigation, police found Como took the trees out of the park and planted them at his home.
He was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
It’s unclear what will happen to the trees.
