Police are investigating a threat made at a Mercer County school that resulted in an evacuation Thursday morning.
According to Grove City Police, a note was discovered in a restroom at Grove City Middle School around 10 a.m. Thursday. The note made reference to blowing up the building and was turned into school officials.
Police worked with school officials to evacuate students and staff by 10:30 a.m. Dogs from the Mercer County Sherriff’s Department searched the building and it was cleared about an hour later.
The investigation into this event is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
