Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson is out of the hospital after a brief stay while battling COVID.
He checked in to the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C. on Friday after experiencing cold-like symptoms. He was quickly tested for COVID, and the results came back as positive.
Thompson says he was vaccinated and is back at home recovering.
Thompson is a Republican from Centre County who represents a portion of Butler County as part of the 15th Congressional District.
