A former Butler School Board member is in jail for a violation of his bond conditions.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, Bill Halle was detained Wednesday morning when he reported to his probation officer.
After being charged with sexual assault in May, Halle allegedly violated the terms of his probation by recently contacting the victim. Halle is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a teenager, who he both employed and counseled at his Net Outreach Center in the City of Butler. The girl was 17 at the time of the alleged relationship.
This comes after Halle violated the terms of his bond in June after allegedly accessing social media. At that time he was paroled as long as he complied with a Sexual Violence Protection Order.
