Harold Leo (Hud) Green, 74, of Butler passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at his home.
He was born on May 21, 1943 to James and Hazel (Graham) Green. He was a 1962 graduate of Butler High School. Following high school he joined the Army Reserve. Living all his life in Butler, Hud was employed by Pullman Standard until it closed in the early 1980’s. He was later employed by the Gaiser Addiction Center.
He is survived by his brother John Green (Kathy) of Butler, sisters Maryann Fennell (Sam) of Centreville, Virginia, Jean Geibel (David) of North Tonawanda, New York, Peggy Green (J. R.) of Fenelton, Jane Schafer (Barry) of Garrett, Pennsylvania and Kathleen Taylor (Dean) of Huntington, Indiana, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James “Jim.”
GREEN – Friends of Harold Green, who died November 11, 2017 will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday at 10:00 AM from St. John Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Rd., Fenelton, PA., Rev. Matthew McClain, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery.
