Residents of northern Butler County are invited to give back to the community through a food drive underway this weekend.
The Harrisville Fire Company and the Community of Harrisville are hosting a “Stuff the Police Car” food drive on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harrisville Police Station.
This drive will benefit the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry. This program serves Harrisville Borough and Mercer Township residents in need of assistance with items like groceries and other essential purchases.
Some items requested by Feed My Sheep are: brownies mix, chunky soups, condiments of any sort, pet foods, and laundry detergent.
They will also accept any nonexpired nonperishable foods. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
