Harry “Ed” Miller, 84, of Chicora, passed away Wednesday morning at his home.
Ed was born June 21, 1937, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Benjamin and Mathilda Tancek Miller.
Ed served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Bon Homme Richard and on Midway Island.
Ed was part of Teamsters Local 249. He drove truck for 55 years, and then school bus for Campbell’s Bus Line.
Ed was an all-around good guy.
Ed is survived by his wife, Gail Hartsell Miller, whom he married on December 30, 1989; seven children, Mr. Michael (Andrea) Miller, of Pittsburgh, Ms. Karen Miller, of Pittsburgh, Ms. Kellie McCormick, of West Mifflin, Mrs. Charles (Cindie) Feller, of Gibsonia, Mr. Joshua (Kristina) Wissinger, of Chicora, Mrs. Jason (Jill) Fouse, of Lyndora, and Mr. Edward (April) Miller, of Glenshaw; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Friday, April 1, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
