Emergency responders were called out to the scene of a small chemical spill in southern Butler County Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center at 12:30 Tuesday for the spill of nearly a cup of Bromine at a business in Jackson Township.
Crews from Harmony District responded to industrial equipment supplier Kromek in the 100 block of Zehner School Road in Zelienople.
A Hazmat Team was also called out to the scene as bromine is used in agricultural chemicals, dyes, pesticides, photography, flameproofing, and drilling fluids.
