Department of Health officials are encouraging people to keep practicing COVID safety protocols as the state sees a rise in the number of cases.
Dr. Wendy Braund says it’s important to continue to safety mitigation practices that are in place.
“Continue to wear a mask, even if vaccinated, when out in public as we work to protect those who have not yet received the vaccine,” Braund said. “Continue to social distance when out in public.”
Braund again cited the vaccination numbers though as encouraging, as more than 2.2 million people in the state are now fully vaccinated.
