Helen Uram, 95, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024 with her son, Ron by her side. Helen was born in Lyndora, PA in 1929, the youngest of 10 children, to John and Eva Herman. She married Paul Uram in 1949. Helen was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora, PA. She is survived by her son Ronald and his wife, Amy with whom she made her home. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Uram of Dallas, TX, Katherine (Joel) Carracciolo of Cleveland, OH, and David (Jessica) Uram of Harmony, PA. She also has 4 great-grandchildren of whom she was very proud, Connor Caracciolo, Luca Uram, Willabea Uram and Greyson Uram. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Sue Herman. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents and siblings Michael, John, Stephen, Peter, Andrew, George, Frank, Nicholas, and Mary Herman. The family would like to thank the Area Agency on Aging and Helping Hands for their care giving assistance, especially Marilyn McCall for her loving care.
