The Butler boys and girls bowling teams swept Kiski 7-0 Friday at Family Bowlaway.
Sophomore Rocco Rice led the Butler boys with a 677 series and back-to-back games of 230 and a 268. Sophomore Alex Ekas had a 539 series with a high game of 215 and sophomore Marty Imhof added a game of 192. The boys have now evened their record at 1-1.
The Butler Girls were led by senior Rachel Blose who had a 542 series and a high game of 192. Senior Lauren Bash had a 531 series with a high game of 195. The Butler girls improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Freeport bowling teams were in action against Armstrong on Friday as well. The boys team won 5-2 and Mark Livingston had a 633 series. The girls team won 7-0. Julia Cummings rolled a 594 series with a high game of 224.
