The Butler High School Bowling teams swept Shaler 7-0 Friday at Family Bowlaway.
The girls were led by Reegan Malis who rolled a 590 series with a high game of 207. The Golden Tornado improved to 3-0 this season.
Rocco Rice led the boys team with a 623 series and a high game of 256 and alex Ekas added a 591 series. The Butler boys improved to 2-1 this season.
Butler will visit Kiski next Thursday.
The Freeport boys and girls bowlers were also in action Friday night as they split with Apollo-Ridge.
The girls won 7-0 behind the efforts of Julia Cummings who rolled a 645 series and a high game of 225.
The boys fell to Apollo-Ridge 5-2. The Yellow Jackets were led by Mark Livingston who had a 691 series and a high game of 275.
