–Central Catholic-6 Butler-0. Central Catholic senior pitcher Marshall McGraw tossed a no-hitter to advance into the 6A semifinals against Canon-McMillan today.
–North Allegheny defeated Bethel Park 3-1. The Tigers will face Hempfield today.
–Mars defeated Laurel Highlands 6-2 in the 5A quarterfinals. The Planets await the winner of Hampton vs. Moon which was postponed until today.
–Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic defeated Neshannock 9-2 in the semifinals of 2A. The Trojans will meet the winner of the rained out Serra Catholic vs Shenango game in the championship.
All of the District-9 and District-10 baseball and softball games were postponed Tuesday to today.
–There is a District-10 doubleheader today at Slippery Rock University. Slippery Rock will meet Hickory at 3:30pm. Grove City will face Fort LeBoeuf at 6pm.
–The Moniteau softball team will visit Cranberry today at 3:30pm in the D9/2A semifinals.
–AC Valley will travel to Smethport at 4pm in the 1A quarterfinals.
–Slippery Rock softball team will face Harbor Creek today in the District-10 quarterfinals at 1:30pm in Hermitage. The winner gets Grove City tomorrow in the 4A semifinals.
–Freeport will meet Southmoreland today at West Mifflin in the 3A semifinals. Game time is 2pm.
Boys Volleyball semifinals:
–North Allegheny-3 Butler-0. Scores were 25-19, 25-21 and 25-23. The Golden Tornado fell to 16-4 overall, having lost the N.A. three of their four losses.
–Bethel Park defeated Seneca Valley 3-0. The Raiders fell to 10-7.
–Butler and Seneca Valley will meet in a third-place consolation match Thursday at Baldwin high school at 6pm, to determine who goes to the state tournament.
–Mars and Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic meet today in the WPIAL 2A semifinals of Boys Lacrosse. The game begins at 8pm at North Allegheny high school.
The Butler boys and girls track and field teams will compete in the Pennsylvania State Championships this weekend at Shippensburg University. The girls have qualified for five individual events and two relays. The boys have qualified for six events.
