–Freeport-5 Valley-0. Sidney Shemanski netted a hat trick for the Yellow Jackets. Crystal Zembrzuski and Kylie Hoffman scored the other Freeport goals. The Yellow Jackets are 3-0 and open section play today at Shaler.

Girls Tennis:
–Butler’s Lexi Chappel defeated Gabby Miller of Hampton 10-6 in the first round of the WPIAL Singles tournament Wednesday. Chappel lost to Isabella Gaydosh of Mars 10-3 in the second round. Jillian Clark of Butler lost to Ella Stokes of Pine-Richland in the first round.
