Butler County Community College softball swept a doubleheader from Westmoreland County Community College. They improved to 4-0 this season and host Anne Arundel from Maryland Sunday.
–The Pioneers won game one 11-2 behind the pitching of Jessi Reed (Knoch grad), who also added three hits. Nikki Houk (New Castle) had a home run and scored three runs.
–BC3 won game two 13-2. Reed also won that game and added a double. Sydney Natili (Knoch), Ashley Coon (Karns City), Nikki Houk (New Castle) all had three hits.
