High School Basketball:
–The Mars boys defeated ThunderRidge, Colorado 47-38 in the fifth-place game of their holiday tournament in Coral Springs, Florida Saturday. The Planets went 2-1 in the tourney. Michael Carmody was named to the all-tournament team.
