Girls Basketball:
–Butler defeated Seneca Valley 66-36. Makenna Maier led Butler with 17 points. Alison Altman added 15. Seneca Valley’s Liv West led all scorers with 20.
–Knoch defeated Freeport 54-27.
–Hampton defeated Mars 56-55. Ava Black led Mars with 24.
Boys Basketball:
–North Catholic edged Mt. Lebanon 59-58. Connor Maddalon led the Trojans with 21 points.

The Chartiers Valley Girls basketball team made state history last night with their 91-39 victory over Gateway. It was their 63rd consecutive victory. The win set a new state record for the longest winning streak in girl’s basketball history.
