–WPIAL section doubles tournament was held Wednesday at the Oxford tennis club. The 7th seeded Butler #1 duo of Laini Spohn & Emily Hinch defeated 10th seed Mars #2 in first round 10-5, and lost in second round to # 2 seed Norths Hills #1 10-1. The Butler #2 duo of Maggie Bodamer & Olivia Porneluzi lost in a close first round to Shaler #1 team 10-8.
