Boys Basketball:
–Karns City defeated Keystone 57-55. The Gremlins improved to 11-6 overall and have moved into a first-place tie with Keystone in the KSAC-South at 6-1 in league-play.
–Moniteau defeated AC Valley 62-54.

Bowling:
–The Butler high school bowling teams swept Freeport 7-0 Wednesday at Wildlife Lanes in Lower Burrell.
The Butler boys were led by sophomore Chris Huff who rolled a 694 series with a high game of 259. Junior Cole Thrash added a 692 series with a high game of 256. Junior Jordan Reges had a 602 series.
Mark Livingston led Freeport with a 621 series and high game of 245.
The Butler girls were led by senior Nicole Nebel who rolled a 580 series with two high games of 201. Junior Jordyn Graham added a 558 series. Senior Ashley McCue had a 528 series.
Both Butler teams improved to 9-0 with one regular season match remaining
(The Freeport boys dropped to 5-4. The Freeport girls are 1-8.)
–The Shaler boys and girls swept Mars 7-0.
