–Knoch will face Central Valley tonight in the 4A quarterfinals. Tip-off is 8pm. WISR pregame with Scott Briggs will be 7:45pm from Fox Chapel high school.

— 4A top-seed North Catholic will meet Quaker Valley at North Allegheny high school. Tip-off is 6:30pm.
The North Catholic Boys will meet Carlynton tonight at North Allegheny high school following the girls game in the 3A quarterfinals.
–The Freeport Girls will meet undefeated Southmoreland at 8pm tonight at Penn-Trafford high school.
Last night:
–New Castle defeated Mount Pleasant 64-47 and will move on to meet Knoch this Saturday in the Boys quarterfinals. Game time is 1:30pm at North Allegheny high school. WISR pre-game is 1:15pm.
–Butler will meet Peters Township Saturday at noon. Pre-game from Mt. Lebanon high school is 11:50am on WBUT.
The Portersville Christian Girls defeated Cheswick Christian 51-14 last night in the Southwest Christian Athletic Conference semifinals. They will meet Cornerstone Christian in the league championship Saturday at Penn State-Beaver beginning at 4:30pm. Cornerstone defeated Plants and Pillars 34-31 last night.
WPIBL Boys Singles championships:
Norwin’s C.J. Turek defeated Vincent Cocco 279-179 to win the league championship at Sims Lanes.
–Freeport’s Mark Livingston qualified ninth. Isaac Spencer finished 20th. Butler senior Chris Huff placed in the 19th. All have earned a spot on the Pennsylvania Western Regional Championships in March. Butler freshman Rocco Rice earned a spot as well based on season average.
