Local residents are invited out to an activity at Moraine State Park this week to enjoy the beauty of nature.
On Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. park staff will lead visitors on a winter hike over a three mile section of the North Country Trail.
This hike will leave from the Bike Rental Building parking lot on the North Shore and focus on views of Lake Arthur in the wintertime.
Participants of all ages are advised to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear as well as bring water and snacks. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.
