Butler County Community College is holding an event to provide community support for recovery from opioid addiction.
The free public ‘Hope Night’ will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Butler Art Center downtown.
The goal of this gathering is to provide endorphin-sparking activities. Tony Frochio, aka Washboard Tony and Rob Verone will provide music and the Pioneer Players, BC3’s theater group, will perform skits. Cranberry Township licensed therapist Steve Treu will speak.
‘Hope Night’ comes out of BC3’s “Reset Your Brain” initiative, which focuses on opioid addiction, recovery and quality of life.
BC3 will offer a series of free Hope is Dope: Reset Your Brain classes beginning June 7 at the Art Center. The next Hope Night event is a Paint Your Soul Ice Cream Social planned for June 24th at the Art Center.
