Butler County officials are laying out the guidelines for businesses in the hospitality industry to receive COVID relief funding from the state.
The county was awarded $2.2 million in relief funding for businesses like bars and restaurants. Now, official applications cannot be sent in until March 15th, but county leaders say you can begin to prepare the applications now.
The funds will be awarded in $5,000 increments based on losses due to the pandemic.
The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission is coordinating the applications.
Specific details about who is eligible and other guidelines can be found on their website—businesses can also call the county tourism bureau, the Chamber of Commerce, or Butler County.
