A job fair will be held today in order to help those who lost their jobs due to the recent closure of Xper USA.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Local Union Hall on Hollywood Drive in the Pullman Square Plaza.
The collaborative effort was put together to help the nearly 200 workers who lost their jobs due to the abrupt closure of Xper USA—which was the former Ibis Tek.
County officials say there are hundreds of jobs available with family sustaining wages. They also add that the job fair is open to the general public if anyone is looking for work.
