We have some more information on the Model T International Annual Tour coming to Butler County next month.
Organizers say the backroads of Butler County will be filled with over 200 antique cars for the Model T Ford Club International 62nd Annual Tour- set for July 15-20.
The Western PA Model T Ford Club will host the tour as Model T’s ranging from 91 to 110 years old will come to Butler from across the United States. And fans- without their cars- will travel from across the world, including from New Zealand, Scotland, Canada and Brazil.
The tour’s theme is “History, Hills and Automobiles.”
Those participating in the tour will follow a detailed itinerary leading them to various historic landmarks, museums and towns in Butler and the surrounding counties. The tour will kick-off with a Car Show at Roebling Park in Saxonburg on Sunday, July 15 where the public is invited to see all the vehicles on display.
The Model T Ford Club was founded in the 1950s and hosts annual and regional tours and meetings to support the Model T hobby.
