A local state lawmaker in the senate has had a bill passed that he hopes will increase the number of accountants in Pennsylvania.
Senator Scott Hutchinson’s Addressing the Shortage of Accountants in Pennsylvania bill, S.B. 719, passed unanimously in the senate last week.
The bill will would make it easiser for out of state CPA’s to move into the state and provide new paths ways for CPA’s to acquire a license.
The bill now sits in the Professional Licensure committee before a vote on the senate floor.
