Hydrant flushing is set to resume this week in Cranberry Township.
The process is a routine maintenance operation designed to flush sediment from the water system and test chlorine levels throughout the township.
However, due to the dry conditions, the township had to pause the flushing for the last two weeks.
Residents could see discolored water and fluctuating pressure levels during this time. The flushing is done from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. during weekdays.
