There will be an increased police presence today in the Moniteau School District following a threat that was made last night.
According to an email to parents, district officials were made aware of a threat of violence made by a student that would happen at Dassa McKinney Elementary School.
School officials say appropriate disciplinary action was taken at the school level and state police conducted their own investigation.
