One Neighborhood Pride Award was given out at the Butler City Council’s June 28 meeting.
The residence at 603 East Pearl Street received recognition with owners Robert and Kathy Fornadley accepting. A City of Butler Zoning and Code Enforcement Officer noticed the great job the Fornadleys were doing taking care of their property and he nominated them for this award.
A nomination application must be submitted to the four-person Neighborhood Pride Committee in order to be considered for an award. The purpose of the award is to recognize a residence or business in the city who has displayed obvious and abundant pride in their property.
