The family of a man shot and killed in Venango County is looking for answers as the investigation continues.
The family of Peter Spencer talked to our news partners at WPXI-TV and said they still have many questions as to why Peter was shot.
According to the family, Spencer went on a hunting trip with a co-worker in early December. He was found dead by police in the front yard of a home due to multiple gunshot wounds on Carls Road in Rockland Township (just north of Emlenton) on December 12th.
Police originally interviewed a suspect and three others before they were released by the Venango County District Attorney.
The family says Spencer moved from Jamaica to Pittsburgh for a better life, and was reportedly the only African American on the trip.
State police say their investigation is ongoing and are asking for patience at this time.
