It’s primary Election Day in Pennsylvania.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Many voters will be heading to one of the 89 precincts across Butler County to cast their ballots.
They’ll see a number of contested primaries, including races for U.S. Senate and governor.
Locally, there are three Republican primaries for the state house in Butler County that feature multiple candidates.
While a majority of voters are expected to head to the polls, there are still quite a few voting by mail. State officials say there have been more than 800,000 mail-in ballot requests. Mail-in ballots must be into the elections office by 8 p.m.
