We’ve gotten through Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday….now, we have Giving Tuesday.
It’s a national effort that was started in New York City in 2012. It kicks off the effort, during the holidays, where people focus on charity.
Although it is a national movement, local organizations can participate too. There are several Butler County nonprofits participating including Butler County Humane Society, the Butler YMCA, the Butler Little Theatre, the Jean Purvis Community Center and more.
